Peterborough’s DR room is a hit with radiographers

Senior radiographers Jodie Hall and Charlotte Chester, principal operational radiographer David Hosking, account manager for MIS/Samsung Tony Rogers, radiography team lead Irena Glover and service manager for Althea Steve Scott.

Peterborough City Hospital has installed a partially-automated Samsung GC70 DR room in its inpatient imaging suite.  The system offers the same image quality, ease of use and reliability as all of Samsung’s equipment, while being cost-effective for rooms that might not require the same rapid throughput as an emergency department or outpatient area.

Radiography team lead Irena Glover said: “The new Samsung equipment is not only a hit with radiographers but with patients too.  Its easy to use software platform and the lightweight digital detector are making inpatient imaging exceptionally easy for everyone.  The speed in which images are acquired is impressive and the quality is outstanding.”
