O’Reilly will continue giving advice as he steps back from Medray leadership

Medray Imaging Systems has announced that Aidan O’Reilly will step down from his role as managing director. He will continue to provide input as senior advisor as Medray continues its growth in the future under the leadership of sales director and long-time executive Siobhan Crowley.

O’Reilly said: “I am very proud of all that I have achieved with Medray; it was always a goal of mine to create a start-up company and build it to become a leading international business in its field. To that end I have achieved my aims and it is now time for me to step back from my executive responsibilities in the industry.

“I owe a huge debt of thanks to the fantastic team at Medray in Ireland, the UK and more recently in Romania. In addition, I would like to thank our wonderful customers and business partners for their enduring loyalty over the last 20 years. I wish Erisbeg every success as it supports Medray’s ambitious growth and development strategy.”

Founding partner of investment management company Erisbeg and Medray chairman Thomas Davy added: “On behalf of Erisbeg, I would like to congratulate Aidan on the hugely exciting and attractive business that he has built from the ground up. We are delighted that he has agreed to offer his support and advice going forward and we are delighted that Siobhan will succeed him as leader of the business.”
