ProbeHunter now tests Olympus endoscopy ultrasound devices
BBS Medical has released an adapter that allows its ProbeHunter probe testing device to conduct dynamic testing and validation of the performance of Olympus endoscopic ultrasound devices that utilise advanced features for imaging, sampling and interventional EUS/EBUS procedures.
“This means that we can include Olympus in the adapter portfolio and the adapter list of all leading OEMs’ ultrasound probes – such as GE Healthcare, Philips, Siemens Healthineers, Samsung, Mindray and more – to test independently from the system, on ProbeHunter,” commented ceo Björn Segall. “With 50 different multi-brand adapters in our portfolio, we can offer hospitals and anyone servicing ultrasound probes the ultimate tool for patient safety.”
