Esaote expands UK team with appointment of ultrasound clinical applications specialist

Esaote has appointed Lorna Bailey as ultrasound clinical applications specialist for the north of England and Scotland. Her career began as a diagnostic radiographer over 20 years ago but she soon realised her passion was for ultrasound and trained as an advanced practitioner sonographer. This led to a successful career in ultrasound spanning 18 years and covering a wide range of specialities including obstetrics, gynaecology, abdominal, small parts, vascular, musculoskeletal and baby hips, both in her NHS role and in private practice.

Bailey’s main interest was in musculoskeletal and baby hips ultrasound and she continues to do some private scanning in these areas to keep up her skills. She said: “I’m delighted to join Esaote and be part of a team that is passionate about its ultrasound systems and technologies and is a forward-thinking and innovative company. I bring a wealth of clinical experience and therefore will be able to help and support customers in the development of their clinical services. I look forward to meeting the customers and supporting them in their clinical goals.”

National sales and marketing manager James Davies added: “We are really delighted that Lorna has joined the team at Esaote. Her skills and previous experience will be well received both within Esaote and by our customers.”
