Agfa demonstrates modular DR system suited to smaller hospitals

At UKIO 2022 in Liverpool, Agfa HealthCare UK Limited is looking forward to meeting customers face-to-face for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic. On the Agfa stand, the company will be demonstrating it AI solutions SmartXR, intelligent assistance systems for x-ray that helps users significantly improve workflow efficiency. SmartXR gives the user hints to improve alignment and positioning, adjust exposure parameters to the patient’s constitution or automatically rotate generated images to the preferred orientation for reporting. With Valory, Agfa’s new modular DR system, we introduce a semi-automatic solution providing excellence – pure and simple. Valory is ideally suited for smaller hospitals or decentralised departments that can do without the convenience of a fully automated system. For mobile use users can try out the ease of use of the mobile DR 100s system right on site. DR 100s is Agfa’s mobile flagship solution, offering FreeView and FreeRotate technology and can be complemented by applying SmartXR AI features. The multifunctional room DR 800 combining fluoroscopy and projection radiography in a single unit is virtually on display. Additional applications like digital subtraction angiography (DSA) or digital tomosynthesis can be added to the DR 800 as an option and widens the scope of applications furthermore.
