Ireland’s top practitioners collect their awards

Medray Imaging Systems and the Irish Institute of Radiography and Radiation Therapy (IIRRT) announced the winners of the third Irish x-ray awards to an audience of more than 220 members at the IIRRT Annual Conference.
Following online voting, site visits and patient input, the radiography department of the year award went to Wexford General Hospital and the radiation therapy department of the year went to St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Unit at St Luke’s Hospital.
Radiographer of the year was Lee O’Hora from The Mater University Hospital while the radiation therapist of 2014 was Felicity McMorris from St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network.
