How and when to use 3D ultrasound

Clinical Diagnostic Services (CDS) held the first of its regional educational days at the Hilton City Hotel in Leeds.  The aim of the day was to convey how and when to use transvaginal 3D ultrasound in clinical practice, with head of CDS London Bill Smith keen to spread his educational knowledge. 

Bill is passionate about the practical benefits and increasing clinical impact of 3D ultrasound imaging on general gynaecological, reproductive medicine and early pregnancy assessment. 

Toshiba Medical Systems supported the day with four Aplio MX systems on which delegates could gain practical experience.

Twenty delegates from throughout the Yorkshire region took part in a comprehensive programme. Numbers were limited in order to promote and encourage delegate participation.
