Prime installation at Pennine acute trust

Pennine Acute Trust, the second largest acute trust in the UK, has chosen Toshiba Medical Systems as CT partner for its four hospitals offering CT services – Fairfield General Hospital, Royal Oldham Hospital, North Manchester General Hospital and Rochdale Infirmary.

Three Aquilion Prime scanners are intended for Royal Oldham, Fairfield and North Manchester and an upgrade from an Aquilion 64 to an Aquilion CX for Rochdale Infirmary.  All systems will come with Toshiba’s cardiac CT packages.

Fairfield Hospital in Bury will be the first installation of Toshiba’s 160-slice Aquilion Prime, followed by Royal Oldham and North Manchester, that will also have bariatric CT scanning capabilities.
