East of England radiology teaching archive goes live

East of England (EoE) Imaging Academy, in partnership with Rosenfield Health, has launched an all-in-one teaching files platform across 13 NHS trusts, with five already live, making it the largest shared radiology teaching archive of its kind in Europe.
“For years, the idea of a shared multi-trust teaching archive has hovered on the wish list of radiologists across Europe; a single place where training cases from multiple hospitals can sit side-by-side, properly curated and ready to support the next generation of radiologists,” says Rosenfield. “That vision is now a reality: fully integrated with 13 PACS systems across six providers, the project demonstrates true vendor-neutral interoperability at scale.”
Powered by Rosenfield Health’s iCode Teaching Files Solution (TFS) and at-source anonymisation via iCode TCE, the system enables trusts to curate, upload and share cases while maintaining strict governance standards aligned with The Royal College of Radiologist (RCR) guidelines. A centralised archive gives educators a single platform to manage teaching cases and FRCR-style examinations, while trainees access real clinical material with progress tracking.
The EoE Imaging Academy works closely with regional universities and medical schools, supporting both undergraduate and postgraduate education, including reporting radiographers and other imaging professionals. With built-in RCR-compliant workflows, iCode TFS supports stronger regional collaboration enabling consistent training pathways and standardised assessment.
