Patients give positive response to Newmarket’s new DXA service
Vertec Scientific has installed a DXA system at Newmarket Community Hospital. X-ray service manager and NMR lead Michelle West commented: “Newmarket Community Hospital has installed a new DXA machine, which is a new service for West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust. This service is an invaluable modality in supporting bone health diagnosis for our patients.
“The team has commented on the great image quality and support it received from Vertec and our patients have given positive feedback. We’re excited for this service reducing waiting times and supporting diagnosis for our patients within our region.”
