Adaptix extends distribution of its orthopaedic 3D imaging system to America

Medical imaging company Adaptix has agreed a distribution partnership with Discovery Medical Imaging to supply the Adaptix Ortho350 orthopaedic 3D imaging system into the USA market.
Discovery Medical Imaging will be an official USA distributor for the Adaptix Ortho350, expanding the reach of the low dose 3D x-ray technology to orthopaedic practices, urgent care centres and speciality clinics.
Discovery Medical Imaging CEO Ellen Ziegler commented: “Adaptix is transforming radiology through its pioneering ‘3Dfirst’ imaging solutions, designed to make low dose 3D x-ray portable and accessible across hospitals, clinics and even remote care environments.”
Using low dose tomosynthesis, the system generates high resolution 3D images that provide enhanced visibility of soft tissues and bone structures, resulting in more accurate diagnoses while reducing radiation exposure and operating costs compared with traditional CT-based imaging technologies.
Adaptix CEO Sarah Small added: “We are launching at pace as we onboard distributors to cover key regions across the USA. The partnership with Discovery Medical Imaging is an indicator of our strategy to partner with reputable distributors who share our vision for bringing the latest imaging advances to the
wider population.”
