QMS and Canon Medical deliver advanced CT installation for Archway Veterinary Practice

QMS has completed the installation of an Aquilion Lightning SP 80-slice CT scanner at Archway Veterinary Practice in Grange-over-Sands, Cumbria. Delivered in partnership with Canon Medical Systems UK, QMS says the new system will provide the veterinary team with access to fast, high quality diagnostic imaging for a wide range of small animal and exotic cases.
The scanner was put to clinical use during applications training sessions, allowing the team to gain practical experience while scanning real cases. The training supported the team in becoming familiar with the system’s capabilities and integrating CT imaging into their clinical workflows.
Archway clinical director, owner and surgeon Jeremy Voakes aimed to create a modern and well designed CT suite to provide an excellent working environment for the clinical team. The addition of advanced CT imaging is expected to support faster diagnosis, detailed treatment planning and improved access to diagnostic services for patients across the region.
