Increase in patient numbers prompts choice of dDR

At St Mary’s Hospital with Xograph Healthcare territory manager Liam Neill, right, are radiographer practitioners Gill Martill, Andrew Stant and Carole Thornton-Todd, advanced practitioner Debbie Bienek and radiographer practitioner Laura Thompson.
A direct digital x-ray system has been installed at St Mary’s Hospital, Isle of Wight, that required turnkey room refurbishment followed by the installation of a BuckyStar T2 Precision dDR system from independent medical equipment supplier Xograph Healthcare.
Superintendent radiographer Amanda Shaw said: “Xograph Healthcare was our company of choice as it could provide us with greater imaging flexibility due to the wide range of detector sizes and their interoperability between the DR room and DR mobile. We had an extremely tight deadline for the purchase and installation of all the equipment and Xograph delivered on both, well within the allotted time. We are extremely pleased with the image quality of the systems.”
