Anne Dunbar at the award ceremony with University of Herfordshire vice-chancellor Professor Quintin McKellar.

Anne Dunbar’s dedication and contribution to radiology has been recognised with the award of an Honorary Master of Science degree by the University of Hertfordshire.

Across 30 years in the discipline, Dunbar has experienced many changes including the introduction of digital equipment for imaging and the demand for services round the clock.  As a highly experienced clinician with excellent communication skills, she has also played a key role in educating radiographers from the Thames Valley to Tanzania.

The university’s pro vice-chancellor (international) Barry Hunt said: “Anne has shown a tremendous dedication as a manager and clinician in the field of radiology over many years.  She has also made a significant and sustained contribution to the development of radiography education at our university.”
