Peninsula Community Health (PCH) has chosen a Philips Essenta DR Compact digital radiography system for the Isles of Scilly, to replace a machine that has been out of action since October last year so that residents will no longer have to visit the mainland for x-rays.

PCH locality manager Clive Acraman said: “The Philips equipment was selected using a rigorous procurement procedure. It met the brief perfectly as it is very compact and allows us to provide digital facilities and an improved service for patients.”
