‘First rate’ service orders digital x-ray device

Superintendent radiographer Julie Collins and Xograph Healthcare territory manager Liam Neill.

Xograph Healthcare has delivered a Planmeca ProOne direct digital panoral x-ray unit to Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital’s A&E department.

It has been reported that more than 10,000 people in Devon and Cornwall have received dental treatment from students at Plymouth University under the supervision of qualified dentists.   The students, from Peninsula Schools of Medicine and Dentistry, have had the quality of their treatment described as “first rate” and a “positive contribution to dental care in the region.”

Superintendent radiographer Julie Collins said: “We have been using the ProOne for some time and are pleasantly surprised by it.  Patient positioning has never been this easy and the images are of very high quality.  Xograph was very helpful throughout the process and the unit came fully assembled so we were able to use it almost immediately.”
