Cube overcomes need for ceiling-mounted rails

Wolverson X-ray engineer Graham Haslam and technical director Peter Davies, imaging department assistant Angela O’Donnell, league of friends chairperson Beryl Powell MBE, lead radiographer Alyson Lovell, associate chief of staff radiology Pat Youds, Flintshire County Council chairperson Carolyn Thomas, Mayor of Buckley Ian Peters, Mayor of Mold Robin Guest and radiology services manager Steve Roberts.

Wolverson X-ray Limited has completed installation of an Arcoma Cube System at Mold Community Hospital in Flintshire, Wales.  Chairperson of the League of Friends Beryl Powell MBE carried out the opening ceremony that was attended by a host of dignitaries.

Staff were able to give input on equipment features and are said to be pleased with the service.  Lead radiographer Alyson Lovell said: “The Cube is great, it gives us the full versatility of a ceiling mounted system, which is a huge improvement on our previous floor track equipment. Wolverson’s team was great to work with. They listened to and responded to all of our requests.”
