Continuity brings benefits to Bristol Royal

Philips Healthcare sales specialist DXR Seamus Flood, student radiographers Catherine Brown and Tommy Gorman, superintendent radiographer Simon Brown and radiographer James Paul, Philips SW and Wales project manager Cath Sellwood, SW and Wales key account manager Jane Robinson, senior radiographer Jo Barwell and radiographers Emma Norbury and Rhian Needs.

Bristol Royal Infirmary has acquired a Philips DigitalDiagnost HP Wireless digital x-ray system for its A&E department.  This is the third Philips digital x-ray system that University Hospitals Britsol NHS Foundation Trusty has purchased, the other two being for Bristol Royal Hospital for Children.

Superintendent radiographer Simon Brown said: “We selected the Philips room due to the high quality images and its low dose capability.  We perform many leg-length procedures and felt that this system provided the best solution in terms of speed and efficiency.”
