Yeovil District Hospital has upgraded two x-ray rooms with the DX-D 30C direct radiography Retrofit solution. Implemented as part of Agfa HealthCare’s Fast Forward to Digital Program the solution is said to have improved imaging speed and quality at this district hospital. It comes with a caesium iodide (CsI) detector and offers wireless capability.
“We strive to keep patient waiting times throughout the hospital as low as possible, by meeting and exceeding the standards demanded of us through national targets,” explained radiology manager Fiona Rooke. “Upgrading our existing x-ray rooms to DR supports us in achieving our goals. We chose the DX-D 30C DR Retrofit because it offered us the ease of use, image quality and potential for patient dose reduction we were looking for.”
