Multi-system purchase helps Hull acquire equipment depsite financial conditions

Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust’s ultrasound department has purchased three new Aplio 500s from Toshiba Medical Systems.  With a further six systems on order, the ultrasound service is already benefiting from technical innovations and improvements in image quality.

Ultrasound specialty manager Pamela Parker said: “The ability to negotiate multi-system purchases has helped the department in supporting its equipment selection in these difficult financial times.  The applications support is also a consideration and Toshiba ensures that sonographers and radiologists are fully versed in the range of applications during and following installation.”
