St James’s Hospital in Dublin has extended its general and vascular imaging capabilities with the acquisition of a GE Healthcare Logiq E9 with XDclear ultrasound system, supplied by MDI Medical.
Hospital clinical director Niall Sheehy said: “We have been delighted with the system since it arrived. The image quality is excellent and it is very user friendly. In particular, we have been very impressed with the 3D/4D transvaginal probe which provides superb image quality and easy reconstructions. The contrast options for IV and intraluminal contrast are a significant improvement on previous technologies, helping our clinicians with faster reconstructions and image manipulation.”
