Worthing Hospital, part of West Sussex Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, has purchased a Philips Veradius Unity mobile C-arm for its new endoscopy suite, where the equipment will be used predominantly for gastrointestinal examinations.

Radiology deputy manager Emma Francis said: “Endoscopy and radiology staff are very pleased with the flat panel detector.  The Veradius Unity is intuitive to use, which makes radiographers comfortable with it in a very short period of time.  The tablet also allows for easy selection of worklists and radiation controls.”
