Pair of CT scanners at Ysbyty Maelor are a necessity

Clinical director radiology Dr Praveen Govind and Toshiba Medical Systems national service manager Matthew Soloman and account executive CT/MR/XR Graham King, CT lead radiographer Neal Crimes and radiology services manager Stephan Roberts.
Ysbyty Maelor in Wrexham, north Wales, has chosen an Aquilion Prime 160-slice CT system to accompany an existing Aquilion One from Toshiba Medical Systems.
Superintendent radiographer Neal Crimes explained: “It is no longer a luxury for a district general hospital to have two scanners; in fact, it is a necessity these days.”
The new equipment incorporates some of the latest clinical applications, and Ysbyty Maelor’s system comes with an array of packages including cardiac software, and SureSubtraction software.
