Newcastle anticipates significant post processing capabilities

Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (NUTH), has installed two Carestream DRX-Evolution Plus DR rooms at its Freeman Hospital site in Newcastle.  It has also purchased a Carestream DRX-Revolution mobile x-ray system to provide digital radiology services on the move.

Radiology service manager Graeme Hughes said: “After an evaluation of DR solutions from a number of leading equipment vendors, the assessment team chose the DRX-Evolution Plus and Revolution DR systems, as they offered a very intuitive user interface, excellent image quality, manoeuvrability and significant post processing capabilities.”
