A true Sheffield diamond retires

Pictured are Claremont Hospital’s imaging team.  In front are CT lead radiographer Maggie Gore and radiographer Andrea Fletcher.  Behind them are radiographers Sarah Wapplington and Andy Pickwell, imaging manager Jo Roebuck, MRI senior radiographer Daphne Glover, radiographer Nick Baxter and imaging assistant Teresa Ibbotson.

Having reached a milestone of 28 years of service, Daphne Glover has retired from her position as an MRI radiographer at Claremont Hospital in Sheffield.

She celebrated the day with a buffet lunch attended by colleagues past and present and, later, concluded with afternoon tea served in the hospital dining room for all staff.  In true Daphne style, she insisted on having a scanning list in between the day’s events and will return as a bank radiographer to maintain her links with the hospital.
