Acuson S2000 for Liverpool

The renal transplant and nephrology department, at The Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust has installed an Acuson S2000 ultrasound system from Siemens Healthcare.
It is being used for biopsy guidance on native and transplant kidneys and scanning the vessels for blood flow of transplanted kidneys.
The system will also assist with guiding the insertion of catheters, examining circulation when performing venous mappings in the upper and lower limbs, investigating blood flow in fistula scanning, scanning the liver and general abdomen imaging.
