Agito Medical strengthens diagnostic capabilities to support NHS community pathways
Provider of diagnostic solutions Agito Medical is continuing its support of the NHS and independent sector partners across the UK, delivering more than 50 diagnostic services. The company’s experienced clinical leadership team supports the delivery of CQC-registered diagnostic services: clinical services director Jo Mundy, formerly of Acacium Group (Xyla), leads clinical governance, patient safety and service quality across UK operations; head of service delivery Michael Shields, formerly of Alliance Medical, brings to the team extensive experience in delivering services at scale across the NHS; and quality and governance lead Alison Milnes oversees governance and compliance across UK services, with experience in CQC-regulated environments including roles with UKAS and Nuffield Health.
Under the leadership of Mundy, Agito operates governance processes aligned with NHS standards. “Our focus is on delivering reliable, high quality clinical services that integrate seamlessly with NHS pathways,” said Mundy. “We are proud to work alongside NHS trusts and independent partners across the UK, providing flexible services that help expand diagnostic capacity where it’s needed most.”
A national diagnostic imaging partner to Nuffield Health, Agito also works with NHS trusts nationwide, including Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Somerset NHS Foundation Trust, East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust and West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. The company provides flexible delivery models, including hybrid and fully managed services across modalities such as MRI, CT and cath lab services, as well as specialist and advanced cardiac imaging, enabling organisations to expand capacity while maintaining robust clinical governance.
