Aidoc, the leading provider of AI solutions for medical imaging, has appointed Loredana Lovisi as European customer success manager and Mike Burns as UK and Ireland national sales manager to support UK and European expansion.
Loredana has worked as customer success manager in the data and software solutions industry and has experience in managing and delivering projects on a global scale.
Mike has worked in medical device sales for the last 10 years, most recently selling devices across the breast health continuum of care to mammographers, breast radiologists and surgeons.
Aidoc’s solutions support and enhance the impact of physician diagnostic power – helping them expedite patient treatment and improve quality of care. The solutions analyse medical images directly after the patient is scanned and notify and activate physicians of acute anomalies such as stroke, intracranial haemorrhage and pulmonary embolism within the imaging workflow. Aidoc is committed to improving efficiency and patient outcomes, with a broad impact on key metrics such as turnaround time and length of stay. The company has 10 CE-marked solutions and additional acute pathologies available under clinical investigation. Aidoc’s solutions are being used in over 600 medical facilities worldwide and have provided value to millions of patient scans to date.
“I am very happy to join Aidoc as European customer success manager. The value I see in Aidoc’s solutions and the impact that these can have on supporting physicians to improve patient care was the main factor that convinced me to take this step in my professional career,” stated Loredana Lovisi. “I am looking forward to helping our partners in Europe to make the most out of Aidoc solutions. I feel like I not only joined a great company but also an amazing family as the Aidoc team is formed by very knowledgeable professionals and incredible people.”
“I am excited to join Aidoc as they expand into the UK and Ireland and to have the opportunity to help improve diagnostic speed and accuracy for clinical pathways where early clinical intervention will have the greatest impact on patient outcomes,” said Mike Burns. “I believe that the company’s solutions have the potential to become standard of care in emergency radiology within the NHS and will help UK radiologists meet the ever-growing challenges they face. The fantastic team I have joined at Aidoc has already made me feel at home.”
Alexander Böhmcker, vp sales Europe added, “We are delighted that Loredana and Mike have both joined Aidoc. We already have a presence within the UK Teleradiology market and look forward to expanding this to NHS customers.”
