Aintree University Hospital in Liverpool has installed a CT Exprès syringless injector from Bracco in its new A&E department. CT lead radiographer Kate Hughes said: “We chose the CT Exprès injector as it is the strongest product available on the market. It makes our workflow much smoother and the elimination of having to fill syringes has meant that we save almost five minutes per patient appointment. We have also noticed cost savings since our purchase as we can tailor each injection to the patient, which is also of great benefit to them as they are receiving a more accurate dose of contrast media.”
