Andrews expands Esaote team in the south-west

Esaote has appointed Ashley Andrews as regional account manager and clinical applications specialist, primarily working across the south-west of England.

Andrews qualified as a diagnostic radiographer in 2003 from St Martin’s College, Lancaster, (now University of Cumbria) and worked in Yorkshire as a radiographer before going on to complete a postgraduate diploma in medical ultrasound from the University of Leeds in 2008.

After qualifying in ultrasound, Andrews moved to the south coast and gained extensive ultrasound experience working in a large university hospital trust, eventually becoming lead superintendent sonographer. He then moved into working in the commercial environment in the development and innovation of ultrasound technologies. Within that time he was fortunate to support distributors and customers in all regions of the world and travelled extensively across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Australasia and Latin America.

Andrews said: “Joining the Esaote UK team is a fantastic opportunity to take on an exciting new challenge. I feel fortunate to have joined a great team full of enthusiasm and experience. I am looking forward to building relationships within the territory with existing and future customers, as well as introducing innovative ultrasound technologies to the market.”
