Baseboards for Welsh cancer centre

At the handover of Diacor baseboards to the North Wales Cancer Treatment Centre at Glan Clwyd Hospital, Bodelwyddan, are Vertec sales specialists Mike Holroyd and Michael Davis, centre engineering technician Steve Jones, RT superintendent Gillian Connelly, senior radiographer Bethan Jones, deputy radiotherapy services manager Carmel Barnett, radiotherapy services manager Nest Bowl and pre-treatment superintendent Karen Thomas.

 

 

The centre has used the Diacor Integra ce INT-1D head and neck immobilisation extension board, capable of taking S frame thermoplastic masks as well as slot type masks, for the Varian Exact couch tops on its linacs for four years.
