Beacon Hospital chooses Aptvision and Intelerad for RIS/PACS

Aptvision will deliver its visionRIS Enterprise suite to Beacon Hospital, a private hospital located in Dublin, and its satellite site in Limerick.

“Aptvision is delighted to be working with Beacon Hospital and its newly-appointed PACS provider Intelerad to implement a state-of-the-art diagnostics platform,” commented Aptvision business development director Anthony Dooher.

The project, which goes live early in 2025 following migration of historical PACS and RIS data and integration to the hospital’s Meditech electronic patient record, will facilitate expansion and adoption of state-of-the-art diagnostic capabilities across Beacon Hospital facilities in Dublin and Limerick. Built as a foundation for emerging AI and automation technologies, the modern architecture allows the hos-pital to further optimise its patient and staff experience and remain agile to the adoption of technologies and modern medicine.
