Royal United Hospital in Bath has received an AlluraClarity FD20 vascular system from Philips Healthcare, equipped with advanced interventional tools including 3DRA, XperCT and XperGuide.  Specialist interventional radiographer Jane Loxley said: “We chose Philips for the competitive cost, rapid installation time, excellent image quality and reliability.  The XperCT function will enable us to gain maximum imaging capability, especially with the biliary and gastrostomy procedures we undertake.

“We have had a Philips Integris system for 15 years, so some of the functions on the AlluraClarity were familiar and intuitive which meant that staff training has been easier.  In addition, Philips has provided excellent applications training which gave us confidence to use the equipment very quickly.”
