BNMS is delighted to host the 50th Annual Spring Meeting at the Harrogate Convention Centre

The British Nuclear Medicine Society (BNMS) is delighted to host the 50th Annual Spring Meeting at the Harrogate Convention Centre on May 22-24, 2023.

The three-day meeting, with simultaneous clinical and scientific streams will deliver an exciting and eclectic programme designed to appeal to all craft groups working in nuclear medicine as well as allied healthcare professionals. This will further build on the success of last year’s face to face annual meeting. Registration is open and early-bird rates are available until May 1 and BNMS also offers a 10 per cent group discount if five or more colleagues from the same department are registering for the meeting. We are delighted to announce a faculty of internationally renowned speakers from North America, Austria, France, India, Romania and South Africa amongst others. This year, we will continue with the popular Cutting Edge / Bench to Bedside sessions; this year focussing on the potential of Total Body PET-CT and efficacy of novel imaging agents. There are dedicated sessions on cardiac inflammation, hot topics in molecular radiotherapy, the welcome return of the educational masterclass series (this year on prostate cancer), Physics in Motion, Learning from Excellence and Nuclear Medicine as a career / role extension. We are honoured to have Professor Marcus Hacker from Vienna give the annual lecture on the hot topic of the moment Ga-68 FAPI Imaging.

The multi-stream Bootcamp, held on the first morning of registration, is now included in the full registration price, making this annual meeting even better value. Bootcamp topics include musculoskeletal imaging, dementia, professional certification and research and audit. We will have industry symposia starting on Sunday evening and for the early birds every morning, before the main sessions, with breakfast.

As well as the usual prizes and awards for abstracts, Innovative Team of the Year and Young Investigators Prize amongst others, we are launching three new prizes for physics, pre-clinical and a medical students essay competition. There are expanded opportunities for networking and socialising. In addition to the Presidents’ Reception, Awards Dinner and After Party, there will be;  presentations and exhibitors’ meetings in the exhibition hall; we also have a new recruiters and doctors in training networking session.
