Developed to provide a forum for CT head reporting radiographers to get together and share their experiences, hopefully providing opportunities to assist and support individuals whilst striving to develop and enhance relevant professional practice, the inaugural meeting of the National CT Head Reporting Radiographers Special Interest Group took place at Birmingham City University recently.

The meeting was well-attended and there were interesting introductory discussions as like-minded people talked about the issues that concerned them in their day-to-day professional endeavours.

Topics touched upon included producing schemes of work, developing a robust audit-chain of competency evidence and the variety of reporting practices undertaken from centre to centre.
