GenesisCare joins the BIR

Provider of private cancer care services GenesisCare has joined The British Institute of Radiology as a corporate member.

GenesisCare delivers holistic oncology care at 12 specialist treatment centres in the UK, spanning radiotherapy, medical oncology, diagnostics, wellbeing services and now theranostics.

Head of theranostics and imaging Emma Spellman said: “We are excited to join the BIR and to take a more active role in developing and delivering education programmes, raising much needed awareness of radiotherapy, medical oncology and theranostics. We share The British Institute of Radiology’s commitment to designing and delivering multidisciplinary treatment and care to combat diseases.”

“Most recently, we have been rolling out our theranostics services across our UK centres and we look forward to working with the BIR to raise public awareness about emerging therapies.”
