Cardiac course focuses on optimised processes

Healthcare 21 recently held a study day in Ireland for radiologists, cardiologists and radiographers.  The aim of the course, organised in conjunction with Guerbet and Philips UKI, was to deliver professional learning and development to enhance clinical skills and scholarship.

The programme focused on the enhancement of patient safety and quality of patient care through the optimisation of cardiac CT.  It included updates on current practice and future indications for cardiac CT and congenital heart disease, together with information on thoracic indications, with current and future applications.

Speakers provided the most up-to-date clinical information on cardiothoracic CT, with an in-depth look at optimising processes and examining the most current indications and evidence for cardiac CT.
