Derriford Hospital, part of Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust, has upgraded an eight-year-old Philips neuro interventional x-ray system to a state-of-the-art Allura Xper FD20/10 via Philips’ catalyst conversion programme.
With the latest software and functionality, including Philips’ 3D-RA package, the upgrade has extended the life of the system for another ten years or more and the hospital has avoided the disruption and financial outlay of installing a completely new system.
