Chapel Allerton Hospital in Leeds has installed a state-of-the-art Acuson S2000 ultrasound system from Siemens Healthcare for scanning sports injuries, including tendon assessments, and for ultrasound-guided intervention.  Patients come from a number of professional sports clubs nationally and in the Yorkshire region.

The Acuson S2000 can be used in a broad range of imaging procedures and was selected by the hospital for its shear wave functionality to provide strain analysis of muscle and tendons that assists with investigations and diagnosis.
