Charing Cross purchases new mobile

Charing Cross Hospital’s radiology department needed a new digital mobile unit as radiographers were finding an existing fleet of old mobiles unreliable.

St Mary’s Hospital, also part of the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, had trialled a Fujifilm FDR Go mobile and Charing Cross staff wanted to find out whether the FDR Go could work for them.  A radiographer visited St Mary’s for a demonstration and reported back how much she liked the equipment, mentioning how easy it was to move, how good the Console Advance user interface was and the enthusiastic accounts from the St Mary’s team.  After this positive experience Charing Cross made the decision to follow St Mary’s lead and chose the Fujifilm FDR Go mobile.

“We’ve had great feedback from the radiography team on the equipment,” confirmed Charing Cross core services superintendent Kathy Gunn.
