Childe to head AXREM PACS/RIS focus group
Soliton IT national sales manager Bob Childe has been appointed PACS/RIS Special Focus Group (SFG) convenor/chair for healthcare technology trade assocation, AXREM.
The PACS/RIS SFG supports and represents members of the healthcare IT supplier industry who provide diagnostic medical imaging IT into UK hospitals. SFG members have knowledge, experience and insight into the workflow and challenges faced by healthcare professionals on a day-to-day basis, which enables them to develop solutions to improve the speed and quality of diagnostic procedures and treatments with the aim of improving patient care.
AXREM’s member companies and their employees work with consultant radiologists, radiographers and clinicians to enable them to deliver advanced healthcare to patients. Childe has over 27 years of management experience in RIS/PACS and radiology markets and manages the Soliton IT global sales operation, including contracts, business development, partner management and marketing. He said: “I’m looking forward to supporting both AXREM and the radiology IT vendor community.”
