Compact systems prove popular at Arrowe Park
At Arrowe Park Hospital are HCA Ali Whitby, trainee sonographer Lisa Newhouse, midwife Margaret Anderton, Toshiba Medical Systems ultrasound applications specialist north west Paula Connor with sonographers Susan O’Brien and Wendy Boag.
Wirral University Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has purchased two Toshiba Aplio MX ultrasound systems with Precision Imaging for use in the antenatal clinic at Arrowe Park Hospital.
Superintendent sonographer Margaret Baird said: “We are finding the systems ideal for our obstetric lists; they are compact and easy to manoeuvre, with superb resolution. Our sonographers are very enthusiastic about the new systems and, in fact, we would like more of them.”
