Superintendent radiographer Helen Scarfe with her new iPad 2.
Philips awarded an iPad 2 to Helen Scarfe, superintendent radiographer at Nuffield Orthopaedic Hospital, Oxford, that she won by entering the Philips Imaging 2.0 competition at UKRC.
For the competition held during the Philips Imaging 2.0 launch at Manchester Art Gallery, Helen had to correctly match four titles, drawn from the Imaging 2.0 concept, to four pictures designed to demonstrate the themes artistically.
The iPad 2 was significant because it was used to demonstrate IntelliSpace Portal, a multi-modality, multi-vendor workstation that, for the first time, uses advanced networking capabilities to facilitate collaboration between radiologists and referring physicians.
