Said Janis Duff: “The scanner is a much welcomed upgrade from our previous dual slice scanner. The difference between the two is amazing and it has been easy to use from the outset, so training staff has not been a big issue. Patients have commented on the look saying that it isn’t too intimidating compared to other hospital equipment. It is so much quicker so there is capacity to increase patient throughput if necessary. We had a quick turnaround time for this project and it all went to plan.”
