Cube framework allows wider range of x-rays

Wolverson X-ray Limited has installed a Cube system at Sir Robert Peel Hospital in Tamworth that allows the freedom of a ceiling mounted gantry system without the need for ceiling mounted rails.
The system includes the latest generation AeroDR panel from Konica Minolta, a wireless lightweight panel that is tough, waterproof and powered by an internal lithium capacitor giving 16 hours use on a single charge.
Superintendent radiographer Lesley Weaver said: “The project was completed on time with minimum disruption to the working department. Staff are happy with the ease of use and practical layout, while patient experience has been greatly enhanced and many compliments have been received on the new, pleasant ambiance of the room.”
