Dr Kanal to bring MRI course to London following success of safety event in Edinburgh

Following last year’s successful MRI Safety Update Day with Dr Frank Shellock, Scotland once again played host to the UK’s largest MRI Safety conference of its kind. Around 230 delegates from across the UK and Ireland visited the Edinburgh International Conference Centre in October for the MRI Safety Matters event entitled ‘Spend the day with Dr Kanal’, with renowned neuroradiologist and MRI safety guru Dr Emanuel Kanal.
Event organiser Barbara Nugent, NHS Lothian MRI/CT superintendent radiographer, said: “Delegates valued the opportunity to learn from this global MRI safety expert. The varied programme and the opportunity to ask Dr Kanal questions created a unique learning experience.”
