EIZO’s Pink Ribbon Day brings cancer awareness to the workplace

In October, the team at monitor and display company EIZO Limited held a Pink Ribbon Day, raising funds to combat breast cancer. Staff at the Ascot office embraced the day by wearing pink, organising fund-raising activities and sharing information on early cancer detection. The event aligns with the company’s role in providing medical imaging solutions that help clinicians diagnose with confidence.

Mental health first aid and cancer awareness trainer Sharron Moffatt led a session titled ‘Understanding cancer in the workplace’, offering insight into how organisations can support colleagues affected by cancer and foster open, informed conversations around health at work.
Funds raised went to breast cancer awareness charity CoppaFeel!, which educates young people on the importance of checking their chests and recognising early signs of breast cancer. EIZO senior marketing executive Harpreet Sagoo said: “Pink Ribbon Day gave us the chance to stand together for a cause that connects deeply with our work and our values, improving visibility and awareness and, ultimately, saving lives.”
