Elekta’s enterprise earns top trade award

Her Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant of West Sussex Susan Pyper presented The Queen’s Award for Enterprise 2012: International Trade to Elekta, at a ceremony attended by local Crawley MP The Rt Hon Henry Smith MP and dignitaries representing West Sussex County Council and Crawley Borough Council. Attendees then toured the Elekta site and participated in an informal reception.
The Queen’s Award, is the UK’s highest accolade for business success and acknowledges continuous improvement in Elekta’s overseas sales. Elekta’s steady growth of exports is calculated at 131 per cent over the last six years.
