Enlitic adds migration to its radiology data management capabilities

Enlitic’s role in radiology data management, focusing on its use of technologies like computer vision and natural language processing to improve the accuracy, completeness and consistency of imaging data, now includes data migration. Enlitic’s recent acquisition of imaging migration company Laitek enhances its mission by giving it access to archives of unused imaging data. This partnership enables providers to migrate, clean and standardise their data, making it more valuable for radiology departments moving to a new PACS or VNA.

Enlitic and Laitek streamline data migrations, improve workflow and enhance cloud transitions. With a focus on data standardisation, Enlitic aims to become a leader in radiology data management, unlocking revenue streams for providers while continuing to innovate in cloud-based solutions and expand into markets such as clinical trials and pharmaceuticals. The collaboration is expected to benefit providers, researchers and patients. “With standardised data, the configuration of a new PACS becomes simpler and users will finally realise the true return on their investment,” Enlitic says.
