Esaote has appointed Emma Burgess as clinical applications specialist who will primarily work across the north of England and Scotland.
Burgess started her career as a diagnostic radiographer, before embarking upon a role as an advanced practitioner sonographer and imaging specialist advisor with the Care Quality Commission. She went on to gain an MSc in medical imaging (ultrasound). She has had a successful career in medical imaging spanning 14 years and has a special interest in women’s health and technological innovation within medical imaging.
Burgess now has a focus on utilising her knowledge of imaging products and gaining further understanding of technological innovation and business administration by studying towards an MBA (technology management).
She said: “I am delighted to be joining the Esaote UK team. I have a strong background in medical ultrasound and I am motivated to continue to progress my career with such an innovative, forward-thinking company. I look forward to meeting our customers and supporting them in their clinical goals.”
